Over the last six months I can’t believe how far I have come. I am pleased with my weight loss of (25 +lbs), tone and strength I have gained, but more importantly for the fact that exercise has become a ritual for me. I use to have every excuse in the book about why I couldn’t find the time to exercise (like I am the only wife, mother of two with a job, and a house to take care of). A long time friend of mine called me and asked me to do this “Boot Camp” with her that she saw on Groupon. Honestly, when I first started, I thought maybe I would last the month if that. I not only lasted a month , but have committed to one year! No longer is it a chore – it is something that I look forward to. On days I miss, I don’t feel good about it, but I don’t beat myself up about it either. I just get back on track. This is a new reaction for me because before I would say “I am a failure” and use it as an excuse to stop going or make poor eating decisions. No more! I realize that if I want the best quality of life I can have as I age, then I will have to continue this routine of exercising and healthy eating for a lifetime.
Thank you Robby and TNT Boot Camp, for your encouragement, knowledge, and support during this journey. I could not have accomplished this without you.
